  • Layers of protocols that origins consist of ideologies, economies, political hierarchies and social conventions 

Get away from the established action scripts and join the avant-grade of the unknown. Become a nomad of noise artifacts!

Three occasions where the static, linear notions of transmitting information can be interrupted:

• Use them to exploit noise artifacts, that can sub-divide as a glitch by encoding and decoding

Noise: unaccepted sounds, a disturbance, break, or addition within the signal of useful data

• Exists within the void opposite to what (already) has a meaning

Use the glitch as an exoskeleton of progress.

• A glitch has no solid form or state through time → it is often perceived as an unexpected and abnormal mode of operandi

Use bends and breaks as a metaphor for difference

• The genre of glitch art moves like weather

  • Often about relaying the membrane of normal, to create a new protocol after shattering an earlier one 

• Glitch art exists within different systems

  • The system of production

  • The system of reception

  • This is why intended error can be considered glitch art 

Realize that the gospel of glitch art also tells about new norms implemented by corruption.

• The procedural essence of glitch art is opposed to conservation

Conservative glitch art: focuses more on design and end products than the procedural braking of flows and politics
